Located in the highlands of Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve and surrounded by spectacular views of pristine Brachystegia woodland and mountains, Kachenga offers a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of suburbia. With groups of  elephant and the occasional lone bull passing close by, it completes the experience of being at one with nature.

Kachenga offers family chalet and camping accommodation at a low to middle budget, the chalets being self-contained with a separate ablution block for camping. There is solar refrigeration in the bar area to keep foodstuff and the camp offers gas cooking facilities. A barbeque area completes the culinary experience of cooking in the wild.
